Generate your database reports with this wizard in only a few minutes on any of your existing MySQL databases. Since this is a php driven application you simply upload the application files to a folder within your web site and you are ready to generate reports. Execute statistical queries such as sum a column.

| Database Reports in Only 10 simple steps ~ |

Step 1: Begin
Upload the files and point your browser to the folder you uploaded the files:
www.yoursite.com/some_folder/index.php

Step 2: Connect to your database
Enter MySQL database parameters and select connect.

Step 3: Select Database Reports or Execute SQL queries
Once connected your database(s) available will be displayed. Select to run a report or execute an SQL query. (If you slect SQL Query you will be taken to an SQL query textbox.) Select -> continue.

Step 4: Select Table
Select the table -> continue
(If you select SQL Query you will be taken to an SQL query textbox.)

Step 5: Select Fields
Select the fields for this report -> continue. *Perform statistical operation on a field.

Step 6: Select Grouping Order
Select the fields to group by for this report -> continue.

Step 7: Select Sorting Order
Select the order to display the fields and the ascending or decending order -> continue.

Step 8: Select Report Layout
Select the type of layout you wish to view your report. Most similar to ms access reports. Block, Outline1, Outline2, Align Left 1, Align Left 2-> continue.

Step 9: Select Report Style
Select the css to display your data or create your own -> continue.

Step 10: Select Report Settings
Enter Report Title, header text, footer text, Report name and the number of records to display per page -> Generate
|

Generated reports will be displayed to browser and the report file generated is stored in a folder named reports for future reference. This allows you to create links or add a bookmark to the reports for future use without recreating the same report over and over. |
